We created The Costa Rica Shuttle Bus after years of experience and success running searchcostarica.com, which has been online since 2001.

Beginning in 2001, our company brought prompt and accurate solutions to the ground transportation needs of thousands of travelers within Costa Rica. We focus on offering Airport Shuttle Services and Point-to-Point Shared-Rides connecting hundreds of tourist destinations within Costa Rica. All services come from well known and recognized providers in the tourist industry.

The founder of our company, Alonso Rivel, is Costa Rican, born and bred, and a Software Architect with extensive experience in developing software solutions for tourist-oriented companies in his home country. Mr. Rivel served for half a decade as Interbus Costa Rica's first CIO, where he had the privilege to work with the pioneers of Door-to-Door Shuttle Service in Costa Rica. Now, and because of the strong bond between both companies' founders, we proudly collaborate with Interbus Costa Rica in delivering access to convenient and safe transportation to travelers within this beautiful country via the Internet.

Our primary goal is to give you the means to purchase tickets online securely. However, our team will also meet you at the airport terminal and take you to your first hotel. We will pick you up from your old hotel and take you to the new one, and finally, we take you to the airport and wave good-bye, hoping to see you again and confident that your experience with us had been everything you hoped for...and even more!
